| Well another year, and what a year. We have had some great adventures this past summer. We took a road trip to New Brunswick, where we left our hearts. What an amazing place to visit. Great people, great environment, and of-course great food. We had the privilege of attending Amy Colwell's wedding, and the great honor of preparing her reception dinner. We look forward to an extended visit with all the friends we made out east this summer. | This summer Stephen had the privilege of participating in the Drama at our District Convention in Belleville. His official character name "Lame Man." He was anything but lame. Yes people, white men can jump. After the Drama was over, we met Stephen backstage to take pictures. It took a bit of convincing before Isaac would stop crying and that this crazy hairy man really was Daddy. Check out the photo gallery for some pictures. Once he was sure of the guy holding him he proceeded to pull Daddy's fake beard off. It has been 6 months and Stephen is still lovingly razzed about his leaping skills. |
News with the kiddies. In a very short time we will officially have a teenager. This makes Stephen feel very old. Yes, Brianne turns 13 on February 20th. Madeleine will be 6 on February 17th, and Isaac is just hitting 28 months. Brianne is now in grade 7, and is doing pretty good. She is still taking violin lessons. We are looking forward to hearing her progress. Madeleine is in S.K. this year and is taking it by storm. Her favorite things are learning to read, math and science. Now Isaac, well his favorite things are eating, trucks or cars, "cycle bikes" motorcycles and horses. |

and I also had the honor of standing in Nicole and Aaron Gillett's wedding
this past March. Madeleine looked like a little princess and did a
wonderful job. The wedding was beautiful and the bride was gorgeous. We
had tons of fun posing and dancing.
This past September, I had to say Bon Voyage to my younger Brother, Doug. He and his girlfriend embarked on a journey worth envying. They are currently living, playing and LOVING Australia. I hear from them from time to time via e-mail and phone calls. Which I appreciate more than they will ever know. They are truly enjoying their 20's to the fullest. I am proud of Doug for getting out there and exploring more than Ontario. But at the same time I miss him terribly and wish he could be here to welcome his latest nephew, but right now he busy having a holiday in New Zealand for 9 days then heading back "home" to Australia. If you are reading this Doug I hope you hit some amazing thermals in your glider. Oh yes, this past summer Doug worked hard and accomplished a dream the he shares with both my Dad and Husband. Doug earned his Pilots license. Miss you both. |
This year I
started selling Pampered Chef kitchen products. I have to say I love it.
It gives me a chance to get out a few nights a month, and meet new people.
I am taking a few months off to recuperate from having the baby, but have
a show booked already for March. People think I am crazy, but I go stir
crazy if I am home to long.
We had a nice family getaway this December. We met my parents in Chatham at the Wheels Inn. There we spent the weekend at Wild Zone Adventures. Madeleine and Isaac had a blast. I think Grandma and Grandpa had a pretty fun time also. Madeleine went home with my parents and spent a week with them. As any good Grandparent does, they thoroughly spoiled her. I am glad that they have such a close relationship with the kids. I know Madeleine is looking forward to the week Grandma is spending with us to help out with the arrival of the new baby.

Little
side track for news. It has been great going through this pregnancy with
another Prego. My dear friend Autumn Durant is expecting her first baby
April 15th. She has been a great support, and wonderful friend. With
Madeleine and Isaac I was on my own in the pregnant world. No I shouldn't
say that I had the amazing support of Charlotte Gillett while I was
expecting Isaac. She was my personal nurse, my walking coach and secondary
labor support person. Stephen being in the number one position. Well that
is unless he was playing GOLF on his laptop. Just kidding
honey. I have to say it's been great having a pregnant friend
to go do pregnant things with. Such as baby shopping, Doctor's
appointment, as we have the same Doctor. Also to have someone else who
understands just how uncomfortable you are because they are just as
uncomfortable at that moment.
I would like to thank Autumn and Donna both for taking a load off of our minds on our "Labour Day", as they took care of Isaac for us. We are truly grateful for the loving care and friendship you both extend to the children and to us. |
